Description for Your special colour printed on Speaker Cloth
None of our colours match?
This can also happen and we have various solutions for this.
We print your desired colour on our acoustic fabric.
Selection with colour chart on screen
Simply choose the appropriate colour from our colour chart. Under Downloads you will find a corresponding PDF with a coordinate system with which you can send us the coordinates of your desired colour. Select up to 4 colours and we will first create a matching sample with colour tiles and send it to you for approval.
Selection with colour chart on fabric
If you are unsure about the screen colours, we will also gladly send you this colour chart printed on acoustic fabric to make a selection. Again, you can select up to 4 colours and we will then create a fabric sample with the corresponding prints for the perfect choice.
Selection according to your template
Do you have an idea of the colour tone and have not found it in our colour chart?
Send us a template with the smoothest possible surface. We will create the best possible reproduction of your desired colour from it and send you a sample with up to 4 colours to choose from.
You are also welcome to send us a link to a colour and we will also try in this way to reproduce a colour according to your specifications on our acoustic fabrics.
Please note
We print in the CMYK colour space and are also limited to this. We are unable to produce neon, signal colours or similar.
Select the appropriate length above.
Enter colour code
Please enter up to 4 colour codes above in the selection to create a meaningful colour sample.
Procedure
Once we have received your binding order, we will send you a colour sample on acoustic fabric for approval as soon as possible. Only after approval will we start production.
Tip
In the downloads for this article you will find clear PDFs for colour selection.
It is very helpful if you provide us with a phone number for any queries.
² Acoustic fabric 2.0 Water-repellent acoustic fabric that retains its water-repellent property even after printing. You will find the corresponding laboratory tests for water repellency under Downloads.
³ Acoustic fabric FR Our non-flammable acoustic fabric, which also retains this property after being printed by us.
We have had this checked and certified by a testing institute. You can find the certificate for the fabric printed by us under Downloads or here.

There are two sound transparency measurement diagrams for every type of acoustic cloth available from Akustikstoff.com:
Diagram 1 shows the measurement in decibels (dB). It indicates how strongly sound is attenuated across different frequency ranges.
Diagram 2 shows the measurement in dBFS (decibels relative to Full Scale). This is a digital reference measurement that represents the acoustic behaviour in relation to the maximum signal level.
Each diagram contains several curves illustrating the effect of fabric tension (stretching):
- without fabric → reference measurement (open transmission)
- fabric at 0% stretch → unstretched condition
- fabric at 3% stretch → typical installation tension
- fabric at 5% stretch → maximum recommended tension
These measurements demonstrate how minimal the influence of the speaker fabric is on sound reproduction. Even at different tension levels, the sound transparency remains virtually unchanged.
