End customers outside Germany can still benefit from the favourable German VAT rate until 30 June 2020. So stock up on Speaker Cloth quickly!
On 1 July, a new regulation for cross-border sales to end customers will come into force throughout the EU. As a result, we will no longer be able to supply our Speaker Cloth to private customers at the favourable German VAT rate of 19%, but will have to charge VAT at the rate applicable in the destination country and pay it to the destination countries via an Import One-Stop-Shop (IOSS). However, as VAT is higher in the vast majority of EU countries (with Hungary leading the way at a whopping 27%), prices will inevitably change accordingly depending on the destination country.
It is therefore worth seizing the opportunity and ordering speaker fabric quickly from our online shop.
